1. Why Do I Need A Wedding Planner + Coordinator?

As wedding planners + coordinators we’re here to ensure that all your hard work, planning and creativity leading up to your big day comes together seamlessly without any glitches or interferences. A successful wedding requires much more than a good chef, a heartfelt officiator and a fun DJ - everything needs to be pulled together cohesively on the day with every detail anticipated and taken care of. We want you and your Fiancé to enjoy your own wedding and take in every fabulous moment.

We are a mother daughter in sync. team who go the extra mile. This is a small company – what you see is what you get. We absolutely love what we do, and we are very good at it. Your wedding should be stress -free, beautiful and above all, fun. That is our motto.

3. What Are The Next Steps Once I Book?

After you book with us, you will receive a detailed questionnaire within 24 hours so we can get any further information you may have about your wedding day. From there we will schedule a chat with you and start our planning process.


4. How Far Out Do I Need To Book Gordon Duo Weddings?

It is best to book with us as soon as early as possible so we can ensure our availability . Even if you choose not to use us until after your planning is finished, the sooner we get you on our calendar the better.

5. How Many Hours Do I Get Your Services On My Wedding Day?

We hate to give you hours. What if we say 10 hours but you need us for 12? We are there early for set up and stay late for take down.

6. Do You Do Destination Weddings Or Weddings Outside Of Washington?

Absolutely – we have even worked on a wedding in the U.K. If there is travel involved, we charge additional fees depending on location.  We love to travel and are happy to be part of your destination wedding.

7. When Do You Come In And Take Over?

Although we offer 3 Levels (and an elopement level), from our point of view we see our work under two categories. The wedding day and the lead up to the wedding day. Depending on which level you choose and what your specific needs are will determine when our process with you begins.  

8. What Part Of The Day Of Do You Oversee?

All of it. We make sure every detail, big and small, is properly looked after.

9. Do You Bring Anything To The Event?

Absolutely! We need our support too and always have a box of tricks with us. Dress emergency? Makeup smear? Falling veil? Droopy flowers? We have your back!

10. Will You Be In Contact With The Vendors?

No matter which package you choose we will be in contact with every one of your vendors. At the very least, we always confirm the order and the timing, so we are all on the same page.
